Important Notice

ScratchPay is not a direct lender. We connect consumers with participating licensed lenders. Each lender is responsible for maintaining all required state licenses and compliance with applicable laws.

Our Role as a Lead Generator

ScratchPay operates as a lead generator and advertising service. We:

  • Connect consumers with participating lenders and lending partners
  • Do NOT make lending decisions or fund loans directly
  • Do NOT require state lending licenses for our advertising services
  • Only work with lenders who are properly licensed in their operating states

The lenders in our network are independently owned and operated. Each lender maintains its own licensing and compliance programs.

Our Lending Partners

All lenders in our network are required to:

  • Hold valid state licenses where required
  • Comply with state and federal lending laws
  • Follow fair lending practices
  • Maintain proper bonding and insurance where required
  • Undergo regular compliance audits

We regularly verify that our lending partners maintain proper licensing and compliance status.

Tribal Lending Notice

Some lenders in our network may be tribal lenders owned by federally-recognized Indian tribes. These lenders may:

  • Operate under tribal law and applicable federal law
  • Be exempt from certain state licensing requirements
  • Offer loans in states where other lenders may not operate

Please review your loan agreement carefully for specific lender information and applicable law.
